2019 Merlot

The 2019 Merlot is half sourced from Boushey Vineyard with its cooler, longer growing season which gives it tons of raspberry and blackberry characteristics. The second half is sourced from Quintessence Vineyard on Red Mountain which is a much hotter site. In fact, the fruit out of this block was some of the first reds to be picked in the state in 2019. This leads to much bigger and bolder flavors along with huge amounts of dark cherry aromatics. Drink now for a more fresh and lively experience hold for another 3-5 years to garner added smoothness. 175 cases produced.
